I am just starting week 5 on The Fresh Diet. It has been such an easy and wonderful transition from eating food that I cook myself. For a person like me that has multiple responsibilities such as teaching, having my own massage practice and taking care of an ill parent. TFD has made it so easy to get healthy in more ways then one.
The first is my weight loss, I am down a total of 15 lbs. in 4 weeks. I am happy and fulfilled with my meals especially since every day I have a snack and/or dessert. TFD makes it so easy for me to be healthy without any effort on my part. Each morning I get my cooler of food and I don’t have to think about anything. I am not a morning person and before TFD I rarely had breakfast since I rather sleep in. I would find myself rushing out the door and stopping and picking up something unhealthy or would not eat at all, but now it is so different. I have breakfast every day. I feel that is an important part of me not being hungry throughout the day and that I am losing weight.
The second part of it is I went and had a complete physical. And my cholesterol went from 201 down to 184. I have had borderline high cholesterol for years ranging from 201 up to 225. My doctor was debating putting me on cholesterol lowering medication. Of course I did not want that and now my cholesterol is completely normal. I knew eating well balanced meals would help with that but it is easier said then done- not any more!
The next step for me is to start exercising. I started to walk this week and I am hoping that will only enhance my weight loss and healthy living.
