The Fresh Diet spokesperson Carnie Wilson appeared on the Dr. Oz show this morning (March 3rd). Carnie’s prayer before the interview was to be able to reach out and inspire people, and it is safe to say that she accomplished that goal. In case you missed this compelling interview (or just want to see it again), you can watch it on the Dr. Oz Show website.

As Confucius once said, “The journey of 1,000 miles begins with a single step.” Carnie is already making great progress on her journey to a healthy lifestyle, and we’re proud to be making that journey with her. Carnie Wilson can do it, and you can, too! Sign up for The Fresh Diet and make the journey to healthy living along with her.

Carnie Wilson needs a slap and a reality check! She can’t cook because she has an 8 month old?!?! Are her husband and nanny both crippled?? Yes–Fresh Diet food is great! But your ‘average Jane’ can’t afford it! What a slam at parents with infants and toddlers who have to work, single mothers and everyone else who doesn’t have what she has. WAKE UP!
Hi Adele. Being in front of a camera, a live audience, and getting pretty much grilled on a topic by Dr. Oz that required Carnie to be extremely vulnerable, has got to be very difficult don’t you think?
We think that Carnie handled herself with poise and grace and should be applauded for allowing herself to represent her weight loss struggle in such a candid and transparent way. I’m also sure that Carnie’s response about her toddler was just a minor example of how busy she is and is only one example of her average day (a comment which like many is now being taken out of context)
It seems that Carnie having her meals delivered has people upset. You are not the only one. However the “average Jane” is busy too. Many are as busy as Carnie herself! It’s a complicated world and we all work extremely hard to make ends meet.
That said – most of our clients (99% actually) are not celebrities like Carnie. The Fresh Diet is actually affordable when you consider how much time the average person spends on food each week. Between shopping, and dining average Jane’s spend a lot of money. If you add back in the time spent factor (shopping, cooking, cleaning) our program free’s up a good deal of time.
The proof of this? We have clients who use our services year round for its convenience. These are people who are not seeking to lose weight, but to eat a healthy and balanced diet who recognize the time savings.
Let’s not start Carnie bashing because under the pressure of TV, she mentioned her child as why she can’t cook OK?
Agreed. I am no celebrity, however I LOVE having my meals delivered. I can afford it (it actually probably saves me money) and there is NOTHING wrong with utilizing services to make ones life easier. Struggling doesn’t make something better.
Adele, if you want to shop and cook and feed your family that way..good for you. Carnie, myself and countless others have simply made a different decision that benefits our lives. You’re good, we’re good. ‘Nuff said.
