Ray Willig, Fresh Diet's CTO
Ray is responsible for mapping out and executing The Fresh Diet’s technology strategy and insuring that technology goals are aligned with business goals. What this actually means is, he’s the person who keeps all of The Fresh Diet’s technology, website, order process, etc., working in tip top shape.
Prior to joining Fresh Diet in 2006, Ray held engineering positions with Digital Matrix Services in Dade County, FL and also in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic as Geographic Information Systems Consultant to the United Nations Development Program where he guided local engineers in creating a GIS based executive information system.
As a founder of the TheWomb.com, one of the Internet’s first online radio stations, Ray was responsible for engineering a content delivery network that served over 500 simultaneous audio/video streams serving over 1 million unique viewers per month.
Ray is a 1989 graduate of the University of South Florida’s College of Engineering where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science.
Just like Oscar, Ray is also a musician. When he’s not making sure The Fresh Diet’s technology and website is working smoothly, he’s playing his harmonica in a local band, or sitting in with other bands.
